Warning: View ONLY if you want to Sell Your Fine Art Photographs

Yeah, you heard right.

Part two of a meeting with Hossein Farmani of the Farmani Gallery in Los Angeles.

This is by far the best, clearest, most succinct advice you can hear on entering the world of fine art photography. Wait…that’s only if you are interested in exhibiting and selling your work.
Had to clarify that.
And of course, for your viewing pleasure, we have it here in YouTube form and on our VIDEO page in higher quality, under Exclusives and Farmani Gallery.

Same great info in both places.

Someone’s going to be happy……

Yep, we have 2 winners to announce in this weeks giveaway.
Congrats to Tom S. of Kissimmee, Florida who’ll be taking that walk in the woods with a new Lowepro Vertex 100AW on his back, and Dunn O. of NYC ,who will be getting that warm fuzzy feeling when their camera is all protected in the Camera Armor.

And you may have seen a new look in the Gallery. We told you it was coming and here it is.

There are now separate sections for Pros and Enthusiasts, with proper respect to both. And the Pros can link out to any other service they use for showing their work like Digital Railroad ,Photo Shelter, Simple Photo, or their company site.
And this one’s for free. Who can’t use more exposure?

Hey , whoever threw that at the screen after that last line well…..well….ok, I deserve it.

You still submit from the HOME page.

Working on some small items in the Pro section and it will be all set. There is a special BIO part of the pro section, where you can talk a little about your career and/or your business. That will be available soon . Just wanted to go live to see how it actually flowed. Take it for a spin and send us your comments so we can tighten it all to your specs. Send comments to :damonw@photoinduced.com

Or heck, post em right here so everyone can check em out.

One sample is there for you to peruse in the Pro section.

YouTube VS Flash – Does the Difference Mean A lot?

The winner of the APPLE TV contest has now been posted on our VIDEO page. Entitled “Solace” , it was Kate McKennas entry that won the day. We love YouTube ( we have 17 vids there under this link, but when we put higher quality vid on the site, it makes a HUGE difference.

“Thank you so much for the contest, the win and the Apple TV. Your site is absolutely fabulous and I think you’ve done a fantastic job creating a community. I look forward to the future of Photoinduced!!”
Kate McKenna
You are very welcome, Kate. Thanks you for sharing your work.

But you know it’s actually all of you that have created the community. I’ve said it before; It’s all about you folks, we just get to hang out here with y’all. Honestly, the future of photoinduced looks very bright. Just keep spreading the word.

Next up, we’ll be giving away an iPhone. Just working out the details now.Don’t worry, there will be a photographic purpose to it. Imagine sharing your work on an iPhone. I have and just the medium itself, wins the day.

What do you folks think would be a good contest entry? Slide show? Image that looks great horizontal and vertical? (check it all out ). And for our friends overseas, hopefully all of the iPhone deals will have been struck shortly, so you will be eligible fro the same cool prize.

One more thing…….

Hmmm..where did I hear that before?

Anyway, there is a product I use all of the time, that we have been giving away here regularly, but have been remiss as of late.
