AIPAD is Back In NYC!
As Spring has Sprung, one of my favorite photographic art events returns to the Park Ave Armory. AIPAD
AIPAD is the Association of International Photographic Arts Dealers.
Complete with a massive amounts of dealers showing the photograph you want to purchase for your home, books for your perusal, and talks with those that shape the the world of photography, this is where you want to be if you happen to be in NYC April 22-26. In addition there is one of my favorite companies, AutoPhoto has a photobooth on site!

For me, it’s a multi day visit as the depth of the work to see is massive.
And the artists are there to talk about their work
And there some unique booths, with a social lean. Proyect Calle puts analog cameras in the hands of people living on the street to capture their vision and give them a way to earn money. Coming to NYC next year!
If you are a photo archivist, as you may be left a full life of photographs by a rleatoive, or you are hired to manage a collection, APAG is the org you need to join
is an org of almost 300 members who advise, share, and meet every 3 weeks via zoom to guide those who are managing photographic art archives
Here is Mary Engel with APAG member Bob Gruen and his wife, followed by some images from day 1.
