Thanks B&H – what a fun (and tasty) place to shop!
Being on assignment in NYC, gives me an opportunity to see first hand the operation that is B&H photo.
woah.
From the overflowing bowls of ZAZA Kosher candies, to the skilled and knowledgable staff, this is an experience that every photographer should try to have.
In this hi-tech medium, they have a system of sales through the store, allowing you to purchase in various depts, and pick up and pay it all in a couple of convenient easy steps.
It’s a trolly, with bins
Go from the first floor with video, audion and lighting, to the second floor full of cameras tripods, computers hard drives and a well stocked used dept.
Most importantly, friendly faces.

A note on returns- while there were some items I purchased, that were not exactly what I needed. Even bought something I thought i had left at the home office.
No problem, no issue.
Sweet!
One thing you must check before the visit: look at the hours of operation, as this is company run by very religious people who observe the laws of their faith. Point being: closed Saturdays, and friday aft.
Plus some holidays.
we love #b&Hphoto!
