Hey, Who Are You Calling A Pinhole????..What?……ohhhhhhhhh.
We mean Pinhole Cameras.
Low tech camera gear at its finest.
And the good folks at Corbis want you to give it a shot. (ouch, sorry about that.)
They had a company design some very cool cameras for you to DIY with, till the cows come home. With full instructions on construction and shooting, you won’t be the discreet shooter, however your images should give you a photographic look like you haven’t seen.
You have to love this litigious world we live in to make Corbis want to write this one up.
Here is the disclaimer from the Corbis site:
© 2001-2008 by Corbis Corporation. All visual media © by Corbis Corporation and/or its media providers. All Rights Reserved. The camera is provided to you “as isâ€, “with all faults†and “as available†and Corbis makes no express warranties or guarantees about the camera. Corbis, its affiliates, agents and representatives, shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the camera or from any harm or damage that is caused by your downloading and using the camera.
Now of course you do know that in the world of stock photos, there are basically 2 agencies: Getty Images and Corbis, and the others that they haven’t each bought yet.
I know, you’ll be telling us about the many other places that handle work, but these are the 2 main players.
Just a bit of FYI.
Now you can have some fun.
