“It’s the name of a fish”

Ahhhh the Marx Brothers Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and yes, Zeppo were some of the funniest comedians ever. True.

And our secret word last week for the giveaway was Swordfish. Check out this video to see the origin of the word choice.

Now the closest a reader came to guessing the origin of the word was quite good actually. He referenced Groucho Marx who had a TV game show where a prop duck would come down on a wire to the stage, and have a secret word written on a card, held in its’ bill.
If the contestant said the word during conversation, the duck would come down, and they would win $50 or $100. Have you ever heard ” Say the secret word and win $100.”

So “secret word” and “swordfish” combined some Marx Bros. classics.

Well, enjoy the clip. A little comedy history.
(ok, fine..it wasn’t photographic in nature, but it was tied to the LowePro giveaway. Close enough?)
