Big Date in the History of Photography- “You Press the Button,We Do The Rest”

Of course you all know what the date of September 4th, 1888 means to the world of photography ,right?

OK, I wasn’t sure either.

Well it is the day that George Eastman received the patent for the first roll film camera and registered the name KODAK.

Not quite sure about the grammar here, but it’s a good example of the Kodak emotional touch points to come.

And as far as “you press the button, we do the rest?”. Yeah, right. It’s a bit more of “you press the button then invest some real time” . Sure, you can go with your media card to the local Ritz or other kiosk wielding facility, and get your prints out. But with so many choices of how to share your snaps, the process has elongated.

All good though.
