Note from Cannes – winning, screening, and…um…celebration with your peers.

Creative team from Ogilvy & Mather, Santiago, Chile, won the Gold Outdoor Lion for their work for the Duende Azul costume shop and decided to further support their client with a facial tribute.

And you know for years the Cannes Lions have stated black tie on the award ceremony invite.
And another year it is very apparent that that is not the dress code of this business. Under any circumstances.
Oh sure, what would a festival be without a bit of celebration? There is a place on the croissette, called the Gutter Bar

Quite honestly, after many years in attendance, the reconnecting with friends from around the world in this beautiful place is priceless. And making new friends who have just arrived on the scene is the best. If advertising or marketing is your business, this is the place you need to be.
REWIND:

To get to this place of winning and celebrating, you’ve got to do the work.
And once the entries are with the jury members, delegates to the show can review all of the work on IMACs situated in the Palais.
Honestly, it is ALL about the work.
More tomorrow on the John Legend Concert sponsored by Corbis and Creativity . Wow.
Plus check out the Cannes Lions site for the live webcast of the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase. presentation.
Cheers!
