Weekly Giveaway – Looking Through A Glass Taxi
Or is that Glass Onion? Beatles reference? Anyone? Read on and you’ll see what we’re talking about.
Whew.
We’ve been on the road the past week with the Clios in Miami and then a quickly put together shoot in Missouri.
Yes, its true.
Sleep is overrated.

This week the giveaway is a Glass Taxi backpack/camera bag from THINKTANK. Click the link and read all about this and some of their other field tested products.
But here is a real world review after traveling a bit with this product: The THINKTANK Airport International was the perfect traveling companion. In a non-human sense that is.
Finally set the interior dividers to my liking and here’s what was carried:
Nikon D200 w/Camera Armor, Canon HV-20 HD camcorder with 3 batts. and 5 DV tapes, w/a lens in case for Vid.,(prepacked in a shoulder case for separate carry), TRAM lav. mic, Handheld mic w/ mic flag, wireless transmitters for the mics, cables, extra batts, chargers, card readers, Sony Pro Headphones, a 15″ MacBook Pro with power supply and ext. cord, Hoodman Loupe, and in the outside pocket, travel docs, PDN , American Photo, newspaper and a job folder.
Oh, and my IPOD with some BOSE in-ear phones. Sure I’ll watch stuff on the tiny screen. Especially when I have 3 babies surrounding me for the trip.
Not mine, just lucky draw I guess. Yep, those earphones worked great.
The best part? It not only was able to effortlessly go down every airplane aisle through to the back of the plane in coach.
Anyway, I’m hooked on that traveling mini production pack. B-camera worthy HD video, broadcast quality audio, NIkon quality RAW files, and the sense of protection and security.
There are cables intricately meshed into this unit.
BUT DO NOT CHECK THIS BAG!! It is a hand carry or roll on only. Not built for the rigors of bag handlers.
And since this prize is a biggie, there will be one lucky winner this week.
The 28th person to send a reply to the NEWSLETTER email this week, (you are signed up,right? )
with “TAXI” in the subject line, and a shipping address , will be stashing their gear in this beauty. AND…we’ll add some goodies to the bag. (surprise pack!)
Cheers!
