You come upon a photography exhibit. Nope not a clutter of ads, billboards, guerilla postings. But a photo exhibit.On the wall that usually only held the name of the subway stop. Pretty cool.

All this month in Toronto there will be photography exhibits, films about photography, talks about photography, and yes…..photography ALL OVER THE CITY!!! It’s called CONTACT.

In other news:

Yahoo has decided to close up Yahoo photos in favor of Flickr. Is it becoming the standard bearer of photo sharing? Sure we have an account. But sometimes we just want to se the image without the commentary and meta data. Like we do on our Gallery page.

At Aperture Weds night in NYC: We talked about this when it was in the Tate Modern in London.
