Bits and bobs from PMA
Just a reminder-last day to sign up for the Newsletter (to the right) and be eligible for this weeks giveaway.
Ok, here are just a few more items we had a quick look at in Las Vegas.
From Purosol– a non-destructive, environmentally safe lens cleaning solution. The Sony booth as quiet when we went past but nothing like taking a real look through a camera. One of the major features they were touting were HD photos. The next item is kind of interesting. It is a silicon rubber cover for your point-and-shoot. The petal design covering the lens is pretty cool. However we saw a couple of companies with the same product. As this one is patent pending, we decided to show them. The company is One Cover.
Whomever you get one of these set-ups from, it all meakes sense to us. A little protection goes a long way.
A couple of things that were also at the show were keynote speeches.
One of the best was a talk by Peter Van Stolk of Jones soda.

You know the brand: uses photographs from the customers for the labels.
Inspiring not only in his unique approach to business but in his basic philosophy of life.
Now here is a guy who took on some major players in Coke and Pepsi and is holding strong.
Thanks to the grassroots feel of the labels and the original flavor names, this man and his team has listened to you, the customers and is doing just fine. Company is worth about 450 million.
And I think the holiday gifts just got decided. Did you know you can go on their site and order custom bottles with your photographs on it?
Very cool.
Tomorrow we have our final video from PMA- The Best of Show Product.
Til then.
Cheers!
