How to Wow – Photoshop Elements Fundamentals

DVD-ROM
Learn the fundamentals of Photoshop Elements including the Organizer, Edit Workspace, Elements Workspace and Camera Raw, as well as color management techniques. Explore image size and resolution, making selections, using layers, cropping, straightening, correcting perspective, tonal and color corrections and noise reduction. See how to retouch and restore photos and how to remove or replace objects.
Please note:
This program is recorded in Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows. The menus and tools are similar, but not exactly the same in the Macintosh 4.0 version. The major difference is the Windows version uses the built-in ‘Organizer’ to sort and rate files and the Macintosh version uses Adobe Bridge for that purpose.

We have a DVD of a very cool film made of Edward Weston in the 40’s. Watch him at work, hanging with his buddies, check out his rustic house (where I’m told his grandson lives now.) PLUS there is a 4×5 fiber paper print from the original neg included.
How can I get one of these great items you say?
Well, we have a lot of new readers (thank you) and here’s how it goes:
Sign up for the NEWSLETTER at the top right of this page. That’s the first step.
Then on Wednesday at 9:00AM PST check your in box for an email from us.
The details will be in there. But it’s simple. It is a little like “The 10th caller wins the tickets ” on the radio. Except here its an email. And cool photography stuff. Which is what you’d like.Which is why you’re here. Right?
So there you have it.
By the way …has anyone seen the Ameriprise ad campaign with Dennis Hopper as spokesman ? Basically it talks about making sure your dreams come true when you’re done working for the man. This one features a man who just travels and makes photographs as his passion gets to be his daily life.
May we all wake every day and have our lives be our passions.
Cheers!
