Photo Gallery of Los Angeles History…On-line

The Los Angeles Library has a pretty cool section of their website for you to wander through. With a huge collection of over70,000 images and growing, here is an opportunity to look through the history of one of the world’s most magnetic cities.

Yep, everyone is drawn to LA. But for some reason it is one of those cities that everyone likes to slam.
Why?
Maybe there are some clues in the history.

You have to get clear on your navigation to find the image you want but it’s all there.
This is the overview section.
We would suggest going here, then typing in the subject or name you are looking for.

The images can be ordered as prints or can be licensed for use in advertising, etc.

Nice little on-line trip through history.

Cheers!
