What to get?
Well, as always, this is usually the best time to grab some media cards and hard or SSD drives. Prices seem to hover in a good place this time of year.
Then I would highly recommend getting your self a new Wacom tablet, and even if you have one, the latest ones, with BT and touch capabilities, make them the best computer base tool out there for your editing, and honestly, your everyday use thanks to that touch pad capability

Next, you really should get into the entire Datacolor system.
Baseline color, calibration, plus way more tools.
Let the time you put into making the image, not get lost in translation with a non-calibrated monitor.
I depend on the Datacolor Sypder X2 Ultra to make sure my monitor is showing me the correct colors as I do post production,
This year, produced a book with both color and black & white and the Spyder, which also read the ambient light in my place, essential to delivering proper files to the printer.

I can’t believe how many times I reached for the Platypod Extreme and Handle to get the shot.
