Do you Laugh Or Cry?

I’m thinking laugh out loud.
From Director Robert Downey, Sr., a prince,(yes, Iron Mans dad) came this rugged B&W movie about advertising in the late 60’s. Putney Swope.
Look at Mad Men now, and this film told the story of the rebellion against that man in the grey flannel suit.
Essentially, the only African-American executive at an ad agency, gets voted in to replace the deceased chairman, and he changes it to the Truth And Soul agency and hilarity plus messages occur.
Adult or language and brief nudity, you have to see this. Especially with the success of Mad Men.

There is an advertising photographer who maybe didn’t personify all of the shooters in the business at the time, but a certain ilk.

Here’s Mark Focus, from the one of the funniest advertising movies, EVER, Putney Swope, presenting his work.

This has gotten some mixed response from photogs, as they get a bit outraged at the depiction. Lighten up everyone! And Netflix this movie. And remember what Putney Says!
