Paris, The Louvre, The Best Photographic Sale/Exhibit in the World…yeah, that works.

Paris-Photo 2007.
This is no one day affair.
The caliber of work in this fair is world class and breathtaking, with a range of images to entice any palette to purchase. This is the creme de la creme. OK, I really don’t speak much French. So lets take a spin around a couple of pieces of the work:

Laurence Miller Gallery

Ok, that was just .0000001 %.

Sure, the day started pretty simple.A bit cool, and a trip to the Pompidou, where the transit strike closed the photo exhibit (Don’t ask!).

But the huge flower pot outside, looked to be filled with something warm.
No such luck.
Felt like in the cartoons when 2 guys are stuck on a desert Island and one looks at the other and thinks/sees him as food.Nevermind.

Crazy crowds. They respect photography in a big way in Paris. And come out to support it.

Looking, studying, photographing to study later.

And when you feet just can’t take another lap, a soothing red light district to take a break.
