60 years ago Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, David Seymour (Chim) and George Rodger started the MAGNUM PHOTO AGENCY. Last month in NYC there were an amazing series of exhibitions, lectures, and parties celebrating this collective, now home to some of the finest photographers
And the respect continues in Arles,France at Recontres d’Arles.

“Magnum is a community of thought, a shared human quality, a curiosity about what is going on in the world, a respect for what is going on and a desire to transcribe it visually.”
Henri Cartier-Bresson

Take a close look at Magnum in Motion. This series of multi media (sorry for the antiquated description) presentations with world class photography aided by the photographers words and/music is what you want to see on your computer. Or your IPOD. Or your IPHONE. Or on TV through APPLE TV.
And when you tell your friends , they will thank you.Trust me.

If photography ticks off that special box in your heart, you will be a very happy person after clicking thorugh this site.

And all the best for a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
