We’re here in Miami for The Clios and have been trying to glean some insight into the state of photography in the world of advertising. Click the link to see the print winners from last nights event. Now remember, lots of illustration in this category also.

Some of the stand outs for the folks we met on the floor were these two campaigns:

Frog Jump
Photographer: Clive Stewart
Client :Axe
Agency :Lowe Bull, Johannesburg

And:

First Time
Photographer: Tony D’Orio
Client:Altoids
Agency :Leo Burnett, Chicago

Capturing Silver, these campaigns struck a strong chord with the audience.

And today, Saatchi and Saatchi presents:
Clio Hero Show with Oliviero Toscani – creator and photographer of possibly the most controversial advertising campaign ever, for the Italian brand, Benetton.

Out of all of the interviews we did here, one stands out as the most concise observation. coming this week.

Cheers!
