Weekly Giveaway – LIFE goes on.

On your bookshelf anyway. Details for the free giveaway at the end of this article.

As we witness the shuttering ,yet again, of LIFE magazine, as we mentioned last week ,here at photoinduced.com we want to help you remember the photographs that made them famous.

Life: The Platinum Anniversary Collection: 70 Years of Extraordinary Photography

And this one also comes with a print of this photograph:

Perhaps of the most famous images from the magazine.

You should click on the photo to link to some very cool articles on the on going mystery of the identities of the nurse and sailor.

I just went through a move and some of the things that came with me are the LIFE yearly annuals and some special issues.

Never salacious, usually emotional, always the highest quality. This magazine, although soon to be gone from the news stands, is still available on the web.

And dig this: You can have your Wedding Photography done by a LIFE photographer!

Yes, to help promote David E. Kelly and FOX’ new show “Wedding Bells” they started a sweepstakes with the winner having their nuptials captured by a high end photojournalist.

Now THAT will be an amazing wedding album.

And once again, we’ll have a surprise additional giveaway included for those on the NEWSLETTER list (subscribe on the top right of the HOME page ).

On Weds. morning @ 9:00 AM PST, there will be an email in the subscribers inbox with details.

There you have it.

Cheers!
