Quick note – Life is over…again!

And by LIFE , I mean the magazine. And by over, I mean ceasing print publication with the April 20th issue.

Here is a magazine started in 1936, ceased publication in 1972, started again in 1978 and closed again in 2000.

But fear not…it WILL live on. Of course on the web.

This magazine was the premier place for the photography of our lives, by some of the best shooters.

And they have announced that their collection of 10 million images will be available online, FREE for personal use.

That’s the best news I’ve heard all day.

This was the first cover-

And the most recent one-

Check out the site, look up covers from your favorite dates of your life, be tempted to buy some of the original images.

I was.

Cheers!
