Sun-Sniper Camera Strap: A whole new way to carry your camera

The question is – did we need another way?
The old over-the-shoulder, camera strap connected at 2 points to the body, seemed to work. And with a great padded camera strap, longs days, and heavy lenses, were more bearable.
At the last trade show we hit, there were at least 3 different options for carrying you camera in a whole new way.
The most popular was the Sling type system with Got the photog T-shirt. Excellent! Fast delivery, great quality. cool gift. recommended Sun-Sniper (makers of California Bounce) and Black Rapid being the main manufacturers of these type.
The deal is you connect the strap to the bottom of the camera, sling it behind you, and slide it to your eye when you need to.
The idea of having a $7000 camera rig behind me was bit nerve racking. Kinda like to know where the money is, so to speak.
The Sun-Sniper actually has a steel wire reinforcement in their strap and a $500. insurance policy, should anyone slice your strap and steal your gear.
All that told us was that it is an issue.
Perhaps being at a private event where you are a bit more secure, it could work.

Take a look:

We have since seen a bunch of photogs using one of these systems at events and they LOVE them. Comfort, ease of operation, no back strain.
OK, we have one of these now, and will give it a shot and report back in.
