Time to buy ?

Are considering an upgrade or replacement for your digital camera? Maybe a higher quality printer now that you are processing more of your own work.

Or you are finally ready to take the DSLR plunge?

Wherever you sit, you should be aware that there is a major photography trade show of the latest gear soon to be available. PMA is in Las Vegas March 8-11. And we’ll on the floor as your eyes and ears to check out what’s coming. Quite the event, including Graham Nash showing up and giving away 100 signed prints of a photograph he took of David Crosby.

This trade show is where the people you buy your gear from, come to shop.

Tons of pre-show product releases also.
For instance, just introduced this beauty.[photopress:canonweb.jpg,full,alignright]
From their website:
Canon’s flagship EOS-1D Mark III is the most advanced EOS Digital SLR ever produced. It has a new 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-H size) with Canon’s EOS Integrated Cleaning System and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with Canon’s Live View technology. The 1D Mark III has a redesigned 100% viewfinder, a new 45-point AF system, and can shoot up to 10 fps continuously with a maximum burst of 110 shots. Dual DIGIC III Image Processors work in tandem to speed up every process while refining image quality; a new, lighter body has improved weather sealing and shutter durability. Every facet of the EOS experience has been enhanced with the 1D Mark III. It’s the new standard.

And after a recent run of new consumer targeted DSLR (read affordable high quality) , NIkon has just introduced a revamped line up of point-and-shoots.

As we’ve discussed. when the new models come in, the old models drop in price. Especially in the digital world. And there will be some great deals out there on products that are still perfect for what you need.

So think about what you REALLY need, check your wallet and get ready for the new deals.

And if you would like to discuss your choices and what you may need, contact us and we’ll be starting a conversation on the FORUM also.

If there is something you are specifically looking for, let us know. Love to have a shopping list.
